WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING A LASER?Laser treatments can be done in the convenience of our medical spa and have many benefits. It can be used to perform the following: HAIR REMOVAL
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR A LASER PROCEDURE?It is recommended that you be in overall good health, and do not have any known reaction to laser treatments such a pigmentation in the past. For hair removal, it is usually ideal to have dark hair on lighter skin.
HOW IS A LASER TREATMENT PERFORMED?The procedure is done in Jeunesse Medical Spa. The area to be treated will be cleaned and a topical numbing cream applied. The laser is then set and confirmed by your surgeon. All people in the treatment room will wear eye protection. The treatment will then be performed, the area cleaned, and moisturizing ointment applied.
WHAT IS RECOVERY LIKE?As this is an outpatient procedure, you will go home the same day and will likely be seen within 1-2 weeks to make sure that you are healing well. You will be given specific instructions on how to care for the area you had treated. For lighter facial peels and hair removal, it is expected to repeat those treatments in about 4-6weeks.
WHAT WILL THE SCARRING LOOK LIKE?There should be no scarring after laser treatments.
WILL INSURANCE COVER MY LASER TREATMENT?No, as laser surgery is considered a cosmetic procedure.
